Texture and staying power – The concealer is medium consistency and spreads easily. Shade – These come in a variety of shades. It is very confusing to choose shade online.I was confuse between C10 and C12 as these are mentioned as yellow under toned and for medium skins. So I picked C12 which has strong peachy undertone which is nice to conceal and darkness and discoloration. This shade is sadly a bit dark on me so I either use it under my foundation to correct the discoloration or I mix it with my Maybelline Fit me in Sand sable which is light for me.I hope I would have picked C10 it will suit most wheatish skins. It is best to try the shades offline.I saw Tammy Clarke using this shade so if you have same skintone as Tammy this is perfect for you. Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick.Packaging : It comes in a rose gold plastic bottle which looks stunning. The bottle is round and thick. It has a big doe foot applicator which I enjoy.I love the packaging it looks luxurious. The shade name is mentioned at the back of the bottle.I do not having issues with the packaging. It is travel friendly and convenient to use.It has a large doe foot applicator which picks enough product.I really enjoy the applicator. I will leave you with this exciting image (below). I am super excited to see what Makeup Revolution has in stock this year and I am fully behind this launch. This product will be replacing my Mac prolong wear concealer and my LAgirl Pro HD concealer. The best part is that it is affordable and accessible enough to keep it as a repeat product. I think this baby works, it is definitely worth £4.00. I set the concealer with the Makeup Revolution Banana powder (both are a match made in heaven) and it created a beautiful airbrushed effect under my eyes.Ĭ12 and C13 used to highlight (blended out)įull face, concealer set with Makeup Revolution Banana Powder I didn’t have to over-apply the product and it didn’t sink into my fine lines. Let me tell you something… it blended out like a dream, I kid you not. I mixed both C13 and C12 to create the perfect highlight shade, I let it sit for about 1minute then blended it out with a beauty blender. I used both concealers to create the look below, the C13 concealer worked well with concealing my dark spots. If you are an LA pro girl concealer type of person then you will know what I mean when I say it is slightly thicker but creamier than that cult favourite. Upon swatching the concealers on my arm, they felt very creamy and a little thick which is great because I am a full coverage girl. I see a white and a few in-between shades that make me not only proud but uber excited to be a Revoholic.ĭid you know that the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer is Vegan and Cruelty-Free! Talk about a brand that not only believes in creating affordable, accessible products but also believes in inclusiveness. So not only did they come out with 18 shades at the jump but they were working on increasing the shade range almost immediately after the launch.Īs at today, Mr Revolution himself dropped this image on Instagram (below) stating that more shades will be added in March bring the range to 25. He mentioned that they are currently working on adding 6 more shades… Shocked? I know right. I proceeded to share my initial first impression thoughts on Instagram, Adam who is the owner of the Makeup Revolution brand left a surprising but welcoming comment on my post (below). C12 looked a bit too light for highlighting, this automatically meant that I will have to mix both shades to get my perfect highlighting shade. Upon swatching the two shades, I noticed that C13 looked a little dark for me to highlight but looked perfect for concealing. I got my hands on C12 and C13 as those two looked liked the best shades I can use to conceal imperfections and also highlight with.
